Our vision and mission focus on highlighting and supporting existing projects that allow expats to learn, engage, and make a difference. Through fostering a deep connection between expats and their new homes, we aim to build thriving communities where the exchange of knowledge and culture leads to mutual growth and sustainability. In Lisbon, we lay the groundwork for a model of expats involvement that enriches both individuals and the broader community.
Who We Are
Victoria and Nathalie, the founders of Expats Giving Back, are driven by a shared mission to mobilize expats for community impact. With Victoria's humanitarian background and Nathalie's focus on sustainability, they've created a platform for expats in Lisbon to engage in meaningful social and environmental projects. Their complementary skills and experiences fuel their dedication to transforming expats involvement in host communities, making Expats Giving Back a catalyst for positive change and cultural exchange.

Expats Giving Back is where expats find purposeful connections with their host communities in Lisbon (as of 2024). We provide a framework for expats to contribute to local development through volunteerism and partnership with local initiatives. Our goal is to integrate expats into their new homes, making giving back an integral part of their life. Through our work, we aim to foster a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and sustainable impact, ensuring expats not only adapt to but also enrich their host communities.
